How It Works

How It Works

There are two ways to get started with Riveta Labs. Both paths lead to the same place: OneTracker running in your home, your teen getting daily texts, and you checking a dashboard instead of Canvas every night.

The difference is how much of the setup you handle yourself.

Path 1: OneTracker Self-Serve

Best for families who want to get started immediately without a call or setup fee.

Step 1: Sign up via Stripe

Click the link, enter your name and phone number, and your account is created automatically. You receive a magic link by email to log into the parent dashboard. Takes about 2 minutes.

Step 2: Install the Chrome extension

Download Riveta Sync, the Chrome browser extension. It connects directly to your teen's Canvas account and pulls their real assignments, due dates, and submission status. One-time install, takes about 10 minutes. Your teen does not need to do anything after this step.

Step 3: Configure your teen's profile

Set your teen's name, phone number, homework start time, and grade level. Pick which Canvas courses to track. The dashboard walks you through it. Takes about 5 minutes.

Step 4: First Launch text arrives

At your set homework time, your teen gets their first text: their top 3 assignments, ranked by urgency. When they finish one, they reply DONE. You receive a parent digest afterward. The system is running.

Step 5: You check the dashboard, not Canvas

Open the parent dashboard for 5 minutes to see what was completed, what is coming up, and whether anything needs your attention. Scout AI is there if you have questions. That is your daily parent time from this point on.

Total setup time: About 20 minutes.
Parent daily time after that: Under 5 minutes.
Cost: $149/mo. First 14 days fully refundable.

Path 2: 10-Day Sprint (Concierge Setup)

Best for families who want Jacob to build the system for them, with live check-ins throughout.

Step 1: Book a discovery call

A 15-minute phone call. Jacob asks about your teen's school, subjects, homework patterns, and what has not worked before. No pressure. If it is not a good fit, he will say so. If it is, you get a Sprint start date.

Step 2: Complete the intake form

Before Day 1, you fill out a short intake form with your teen's Canvas login details, phone number, homework schedule, and any 504/IEP accommodations. This gives Jacob what he needs to build without asking you repeatedly.

Days 1 through 10: Jacob builds

Jacob connects Canvas, configures the priority scoring for your teen's specific courses, sets the Launch Sequence schedule, and gets the system running. You have three live check-in calls (Day 1, Day 5, Day 10) and daily async updates between them. You are not figuring anything out. You are reviewing and approving.

  • Day 1: Canvas connected. First Launch text sent. System is live.
  • Day 3: Brain Station set up in your home. Morning reset routine established.
  • Day 5: Mid-sprint review. Adjustments based on your teen's responses.
  • Day 7: Teacher outreach initiated if needed. Diplomat email drafted.
  • Day 10: Handoff call. Everything is running. You transition to independent management.

Day 10 onward: OneTracker runs

At handoff, the system Jacob built is yours. You continue on OneTracker at $149/mo. Same software, same guarantee as self-serve families. The Sprint simply means you never had to set anything up yourself.

Sprint cost: $997 one-time.
OneTracker after Day 10: $149/mo.
Cohort size: 8 families max. Available on demand.

Not sure which path is right?

Start with OneTracker. The 14-day refund is unconditional. If you try it and decide you want Jacob to build it for you instead, we apply what you have already paid toward the Sprint. No penalty for starting self-serve.

Read the eligibility page if you are not sure whether either option is a good fit for your family.
