The Homework-Running-or-Free guarantee has two checkpoints. Day 14: if the system is not activated within 14 days of the first payment, you get a full refund, no conditions. On a weekday afternoon your teen gets one text with the top three assignments for the day, and you get a short parent summary at the same time. A missed day gets a gentle nudge, and it takes several missed days in a row before you hear about it. A launch day counts as confirmed when your teen replies GO, DONE, PAUSE, or STUCK to that day's texts. When days go unconfirmed in a row, a four-step ramp runs, with at most one message per step per day. After one missed day, the teen gets a light, playful nudge that names the highest-priority assignment. After two, a direct reminder with the count of assignments due. After three, you also get a message: a different approach may be needed for your teen, and the texts keep going while adjustments are tried. The teen gets a short no-lecture note asking them to reply GO when ready. After four or more, you get an alert listing up to three specific assignments so you can act, and the teen hears the system is still here, no pressure. One confirmed day resets the count to zero.

Setup is six short steps in the app, and the only technical part is installing a Chrome extension. Step one adds your teen: name, grade, year of birth, school, and consent. Yes. The daily texts go to your teen, so your teen needs a number that receives text messages. Any device that receives texts works, including an Apple Watch, and nothing is installed on it. You enter the number during setup and record consent to text messaging at the same time, and OneTracker checks that the consent is still current every time before it sends. A parent phone number is optional. With one, you get the afternoon parent summary and the evening update by text. Without one, the dashboard still shows everything. A second parent can be invited from Settings, sees the same dashboard, and gets the same evening update. Your teen can reply STOP to any message to end the texts. The texts are a launch prompt, not a report card, and your teen sees the same assignment list you do.

Canceling and deleting are two different actions. Canceling the subscription happens in the billing portal, with no fee, and access continues through the end of the paid period. After that, the texts and the syncing stop. Account data is kept for 90 days after the subscription ends in case you come back, then permanently deleted, with longer periods for some records set by the privacy policy: text-message logs 12 months, payment records 7 years. It answers questions about your teen's current assignments, deadlines, and priorities using your family's own synced Canvas data, and suggests one next step at a time. Scout has five actions, and every one waits for your approval before anything happens. It can nudge your teen by text, limited to one per assignment per day, three per student per day, and none after 9pm. It can draft a teacher email from the Email Diplomat template for you to review and send. It can refresh Canvas data, offered only when your family connected with a Canvas access token; families on the extension open Canvas instead. It can snooze an assignment for 24 hours. It can break an assignment into three to five short steps. OneTracker connects to Canvas, and only to Canvas, today. There are two ways to connect it. The first is the Riveta Sync Chrome extension.
